python-mk-livestatus software package provides Helps to query MK livestatus and return results as dictionary, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-mk-livestatus
python-mk-livestatus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-mk-livestatus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-mk-livestatus *
You will get with python-mk-livestatus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
